Eighteen of the twenty artists scheduled to perform on Fantastic Friday for the coveted Soca Monarch Title have been announced. Today we have a second post on the finalists; this one lists the possible songs they will sing for their finals appearance.
The listed songs are based on the songs the artists sang for their semi-finals appearance at the Queens Park Savannah on Sunday January 17, 2016. All songs have links to YouTube but we have a YouTube Play List of the songs attached to this post. We have prepared a YouTube Playlist of the songs that we expect the artists to sing on the night of the finals. These are the songs we expect to hear on Fantastic Friday.
There are two spots left to be filled in the finals! This will be done via the wild card. The wild cards are selected from the order of merit list from the Semi-Finals held on January 17th, 2016. They are therefore the next four artistes with the highest points. These Wild cards will compete via public voting to gain a spot at the Finals on Fantastic Friday. This competition is sponsored by NLCB.
